In-Class Work, Assignments and Tests- We are beginning our work on the first story of the year, Hatchet. While reading, we will be practicing the skill of noting details and the strategy of summarizing.

Reader- We have taken our STAR test and established our new reading ranges. I have also conferenced with each student and set our AR goal for the first trimester. Be sure to ask your child about their goal. Our first AR goal-getter party will be a "Pizza Pig Out Party!" Students should be at 4% of their goal this week.
